1. Development skills
Altsoft s.r.o. is mastering two dominant platforms: Microsoft .NET and Java (J2EE). Most of the Altsoft internal projects were done in .NET C# on Windows platforms. Contractors activity is both on .NET and Java. ASP.NET outsourcing is also among our areas of specialization.

3. Processes
Since most of the projects and contractor activity is in close cooperation with the customers, Altsoft has to adapt to the existing processes and development tools from the customers. For the internal Altsoft projects, MS Project integrated with Microsoft Team Server is used to plan and track the projects. UML is used to design the components and describe architectures. Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 Team Edition is used as the development environment. Our area of our expertise in development processes also includes the following:
